Dothan Man Arrest For Cocaine

On June 1, 2012 the Dothan Police Department made a felony narcotic arrest after an officer on routine patrol stopped a man acting suspiciously. While on patrol in the area of Hutchins Street and Lake Street the officer observed a male later identified as Willie Chapman on a bicycle. As the officer passed by Chapman, Chapman was nearly struck when he rode out in front of the patrol car. The officer avoided the collision and made then made contact with Chapman, suspecting the man was intoxicated. During the investigation, the officer discovered Chapman was in possession of cocaine at which time he was placed under arrest.

 

 

 

·        Willie Chapman, black male, 46 years of age, of Lake Street was arrested and charged with Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance with a $5,000 bond.
