Dothan Man Arrested For Sexual Abuse of Child and Assault

On May 19, 2012 the Dothan Police Department responded to a Sexual Abuse call at Cayman Bay where the first officer on scene made contact with the suspect, Zavier Lashon Robinson. When the officer confronted Robinson he became combative and punched the officer in the face a number of times. After the physical confrontation, Robinson was taken into custody. The officer was taken to a local hospital where he received treatment for moderate injuries sustained during the confrontation. Due to the sensitive nature of the original incident, limited details are being released however an investigation confirmed the allegations against Robinson who was then charged with Sexual Abuse of a child under the age of twelve, and Assault.

 

 

·        Zavier Lashon Robinson, black male, 19 years of age, of Cayman Bay was arrested and charged with Sexual Abuse of a child under the age of twelve, and Second Degree Assault with bonds totaling $500,000.
