Dothan Man Arrested for Violation of the Community Notification Act

On January 31, 2014 the Dothan Police Department arrested Ronald Carroll, after it was discovered he was in violation of guidelines and conditions that were set due to him being a convicted sex offender.
Investigators say Carroll failed to advise authorities that a minor relative had established residency at a home he was a resident of. That failure to notify local law enforcement was a violation of section 11 of Act 2011-640 of the Legislature of Alabama.
- Ronald Antuin Carroll, black male, 44 years of age, of Monroe Street was arrested for Violation of the Community Notification Act. A bond amount has been set at $15,000.00. All persons arrested are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
