Dothan Man Charged with Abuse and Torture of a Child

On July 23, 2015 the Dothan Police Department made a felony arrest following a recent child abuse investigation.
Investigators say they responded to Flowers Hospital emergency room reference a ten month old which had ingested an alcoholic beverage. Their investigation revealed that Dontavian McCree fed the child baby formula mixed with an alcoholic beverage.
McCree was arrested and charged with Torture, willful abuse, etc., of child under 18 years of age by responsible person. His arrest now brings this case to a close.
- Dontavian Lee McCree, black male, 19 years of age, of Westgate Parkway was arrested and charged with Torture, willful abuse, etc., of child under 18 years of age by responsible person. A bond amount has been set at $15,000.00.
All persons arrested are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
