Dothan Man Charged with Breaking and Entering a Motor Vehicle

On September 16, 2014, the Dothan Police Department made a felony arrest following a recent theft complaint.
Investigators say on September 10, 2014, Fred Morris was seen entering an unlocked vehicle in the 500 block of North Englewood Drive that did not belong to him. Morris was confronted by the owner of the vehicle, but fled the area before the police arrived.
Officers later identified Morris as the suspect and he has now been charged with unlawfully breaking and entering a motor vehicle.
Fred Newton Morris, white male, 36 years of age, of Roosevelt Drive was arrested and charged with Unlawful Breaking and Entering a Motor Vehicle. A bond amount has been set at $5,000.00.
All persons arrested are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
