On July 16, 2014 the Dothan Police Department made a felony arrest following a recent theft investigation.

Investigators say James Reynolds burglarized a residence in the 1100 block of South Saint Andrews Street and attempted to sell items from that home in the immediate area. Investigators were notified after Reynolds sold stolen property to a neighbor of the victim.

Reynolds was located and taken into custody a short period later.

  • James Edward Reynolds, black male, 49 years of age, of West Selma Street was arrested and charged with one count of third degree Burglary and one count of second degree Receiving Stolen Property. Bond amounts have been set on both charges and total $30,000.00.

All persons arrested are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
