Dothan Man Charged with First Degree Burglary

On May 2, 2014 the Dothan Police Department responded to the 800 block of State Avenue in reference to a domestic disturbance that resulted in an arrest for burglary.


 


Investigators say Jeremy Mckenzie forced his way into a relative’s home, after the victim refused to let him in. Once inside the home McKenzie assaulted that family member and took several items from the home before leaving the residence.


 


Officer’s located McKenzie a short period later at another relatives home and arrested him for burglary.


 



  • Jeremy Cordarel McKenzie, black male, 27 years of age, of Melondy Lane was arrested and charged with First Degree Burglary. A bond amount has been set at $250,000.00.


 


All persons arrested are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
