Dothan Man Charged with First Degree Robbery

On July 4, 2012 the Dothan Police Department responded to an armed robbery at Dollar General, located at 1060 West Main Street. Employees of the business stated a black male wearing a blue bandanna over the face, purple Polo shirt and khaki shorts entered the business with a silver hand-gun demanding money after which he fled on foot. While searching in the area, officers were advised a man matching the robbers description was seen going into an apartment in the 200 block of North Herring Street. Officers made contact with occupants of the apartment, located evidence from the robbery, and identified Delvin Corbitt as the person responsible. Corbitt was arrested bringing the case to a close.

 

 

·        Delvin Corbitt, black male, 19 years of age, of Fairlane Drive was arrested and charged with First Degree Robbery with bond being set later today.
