Dothan Man Charged with First Degree Robbery

On August 7, 2012 the Dothan Police Department responded to an armed robbery of an individual in the 200 block of Emmons Drive. According to the victim, he had advertised speakers he had for sale and was contacted by a potential buyer. The buyer arrived and then pulled a gun on the victim. The victim said the suspect held him at gunpoint while two additional suspects removed the speakers from his vehicle. Investigators say the gunman has now been identified and arrested. Police continue to search for the accomplices and are asking anyone with information about the case or identity of the suspects to call the Dothan Police Department or CrimeStoppers 334-793-7000.

 

 

 

·        Devante Laquae Williams, black male, 22 years of age, of Memphis Street was arrested and charged with First Degree Robbery with a $200,000 bond.
