Dothan Man Charged with Four Counts of Chemical Endangerment of a Child

On May 23rd, 2014 the Dothan Police Department made a felony arrest following the investigation of a trespassing complaint.
Officers responded to an apartment in the 200 block of Mona Drive after receiving information that an individual was illegally at that location. While attempting to make contact with the individuals inside of the apartment, officers could smell the odor of burnt marijuana. Once door was opened and contact with the tenant was made, officers confirmed the odor was coming from inside. Officers spoke with Corry Hunter (who was inside) and he admitted to smoking marijuana inside the apartment, while four juveniles ranging from ages 5 to 1 years old were present.
Hunter was arrested and charged with Chemical Endangerment of a Child.
- Corry Ladonn Hunter, black male, 24 years of age, of South Appletree Stree was arrested and charged with four counts of Chemical Endangerment of a Child. A bond amount has been set and totals $16,000.00.
All persons arrested are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
