Dothan Man Charged with Receiving Stolen Property

The Dothan Police Department has made a felony arrest after responded to a report of a suspect in possession of stolen merchandise on East Burdeshaw Street. The caller stated his wife’s purse containing a cellular phone had been stolen on October 13, 2012. The caller then stated using an application online he was able to pinpoint the address where the stolen phone was currently located. Using the information, police made contact with a possible suspect who was arrested after the stolen phone was found in his possession.

 

 

·        Ronald Balcom, black male, 48 years of age, of East Burdeshaw Street was arrested and charged with Receiving Stolen Property with a $2,500 bond.
