Dothan Man Charged with Second Degree Burglary

On February 4, 2013 the Dothan Police Department made a felony arrest following a recent investigation of residential burglary. Investigators say on March 27, 2012 an unknown suspect forced entry into home located in the 700 block of Parker Street and took several items while the homeowner slept. Police collected fingerprints from the crime scene which were submitted for analysis and later identified as those belonging to Jonathan Piper. Police say Piper has now been arrested bringing the case to a close.

• Jonathan Piper, black male, 26 years of age, of Virginia Drive was arrested and charged with Second Degree Burglary with a $20,000 bond. All persons arrested are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
