Dothan Man Charged with Second Degree Domestic Violence

On February 15, 2013 the Dothan Police Department made a felony arrest following an ongoing domestic assault investigation. Due to the sensitive nature of the case, limited details are being released however police did confirm the suspect, Orlando Maybin, had an ongoing relationship with the victim prior to the incident. Police also confirmed a small child was present at the time of the incident and had involvement in the physical altercation. Both victims suffered minor injuries. Police arrested the suspect and say the case will remain open and further charges may be pending.

• Orlando Maybin, black male 26 years of age, East Spring Street was arrested and charged with Second Degree Domestic Violence with a $30,000 bond. All persons arrested are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
