Dothan Man Charged with Second Degree theft of Property

On August 1st, 2014 the Dothan Police Department made a felony arrest after responding to a theft in progress complaint at Dillard’s Department store. Investigators say Christopher Cassady was arrested after he attempted to steal over $600.00 in merchandise from the business. The items taken consisted of assorted clothing, which Cassady concealed in his pants prior to his attempt at exiting the store.
Cassady has been charged with second degree theft of property. His arrest now brings this case to a close.
- Christopher James Cassady, white male, 35 years of age, of Brougham Court was arrested and charged with second degree theft of property. A bond amount has been set at $2,500.00.
All persons arrested are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
