Dothan Man Charged with Third Degree Burglary

On May 18, 2014 the Dothan Police Department made a felony arrest after responding to the 2100 block of Denton Road on a criminal mischief complaint.


 


Investigators say James Stephens III forcefully entered an apartment in the “Summerwood” housing complex and damaged property inside. Investigators say Stephens III was not living at the apartment, nor did he have permission to be there. Stephens III ran from the apartment upon the first officer’s arrival, but was quickly apprehended a short distance away.


 



  • James Lester Stephens III, white male, 27 years of age, of Denton Road was arrested and charged with third degree Burglary. A bond amount has been set at $15,000.00.


 


All persons arrested are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
