Dothan Man Charged with Two Counts of First Degree Theft of Property

On June 24, 2014 the Dothan Police Department made a felony arrest following a recent employee theft complaint.
Investigators say John Denson was employed at Wayne Farms of Dothan when the company’s security division received information that he was stealing from the plant. An internal investigation was started and revealed Denson stole over $3,500 worth of tools and equipment. It was also discovered that Denson ordered nearly $3,000 worth of chain link fencing for a family member, which he used the company’s account to purchase.
Denson was arrested and charged with two counts of first degree theft. The Dothan Police Department asks that anyone who has purchased tools from Denson within the last year to contact us at 334-615-3000.
- John Floyd Denson, white male, 52 years of age, of East Smithville Road was arrested and charged with two counts of first degree Theft of Property. Bond amounts have been set and total $30,000.00.
All persons arrested are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
