An Alabama man died late Sunday night after sustaining injuries in a July 11 accident in Nolan County, according to a Texas Department of Public Safety news release.

Frederick Barry Littlefield, 56, of Dothan, Ala., was pronounced dead Sunday night at Hendrick Medical Center, according to the release.

Littlefield was riding in a 2005 International Truck driven by David Lee Jackson, 49. Jackson was listed as the truck driver and Littlefield was listed as a mover, according to DPS Senior Trooper Sparky Dean.

Jackson was traveling northwest on U.S. Highway 84 and was attempting to change lanes on a curve. He lost control and entered the center median in a side skid and overturned.
