Dothan Officers Received Promotions Today

This afternoon Dothan Police Chief Greg Benton held a Promotion Ceremony and the following received their promotions.
Promoted to the rank of Corporal were Office Taiwan Truitt and Officer Anthony McClendon.
Promoted to the rank of Sergeant were Corporal Scott Owens and Corporal Jonathan Whaley. Corporal Whaley also received a commendation for all his years of service as a K-9 Officer.
Promoted to the rank of Lieutenant were Sergeant Jason Penn and Sergeant Brian Smith.
Promoted to the rank of Captain was Lieutenant Will Benny
