Dothan PD: 3 Robberies, 3 Arrests

Tuesday, December 22, 2009 Dothan Police responded to a Robbery call in the 500 block of Shirley Street. The suspect, black male, Kendrick Jermaine Gaskin, 18 years old of Dothan, walked up to the victim brandishing a handgun and demanding money. Gaskin left the area and was later arrested at the Dothan City Jail where he was charged with Robbery First Degree. Gaskin was later transferred to the Houston County Jail with a bond set at $60,000.
Wednesday, December 23, 2009 Dothan Police responded to a Burglary call in the 500 block of Shirley Street. The suspect, black male, Grady Jamelle Miller, 25 years old of Dothan, kicked in the victim`s door and assaulted him. Miller was apprehended by Dothan Patrol Officers and transported to the Dothan City Jail where he was charged with Burglary First Degree and later transferred to the Houston County Jail with a bond set at $60,000. The victim`s injuries were non-life threatening.Thursday, December 24, 2009 Dothan Police responded to Robbery call in the 900 block of Commons Drive (Wiregrass Commons Mall). The suspect, white male, Daniel Dustin Simmons, 26 years old of Ozark, took several items from the business and left without paying. Upon exiting the store with the merchandise, Simmons was apprehended by the business associates until Dothan Patrol Officers arrived. Simmons was arrested and transported to the Dothan City Jail where he was charged with Robbery Third Degree with a bond set at $3,000.
