DOTHAN: On Tuesday the Dothan Commission is set to approve $ 30,000.00 in video production and advertising.
The Performing Arts Director of the Dothan Civic Center has proposed to the Dothan Commission the spending of $ 20,000.00 per year with WTVY. And that same director is porposing to spend $ 10,000.00 a year with Scenic Productions.
The resolution so expertly created by the Performing Arts Director reads: The City of Dothan has requested proposals from twenty different advertising firms, television and cableproduction companies to meet this need...
They are paying Scenic $ 10,000.00 which involves "sharing this product with WTVY for distribution to their television station networks in the region.
WAIT - they are paying WTVY for production of thirty second television commercials and sharing the products with Scenic Productions.
WAIT - Dothan Performing Arts Director wants to advertise events to Houston County, Dale County, Henry County, the panhandle of Florida and Western Georgia.
