Dothan Police Arrest Three for Manufacturing of a Controlled

On June 22nd, 2014 the Dothan Police Department responded to the 600 block of Westmead Street after receiving information of an active methamphetamine lab in the area.
Officers made contact with three individuals, identified as Kenneth Jernigan, Kevin Sellers and Dia Mongoven at 601 Westmead Street, after smelling a strong ammonia odor, emitting from within the building. Officers entered the building and immediately located items used in the manufacturing process of methamphetamine. Investigators with the Dothan Police Departments Narcotics Division arrived at the location and removed approximately 40 grams of suspected methamphetamine oil from the property.
Jernigan, Sellers and Mongoven were all taken into custody and charged with Unlawful Manufacturing of a Controlled Substance.
- Kenneth Wayne Jernigan, white male, 37 years of age, of Slocomb, Alabama was arrested and charged with Unlawful Manufacturing of a Controlled Substance.
- Kevin Royce Sellers, white male, 27 years of age, of Slocomb, Alabama was arrested and charged with Unlawful Manufacturing of a Controlled Substance.
- Dia Elizabeth Mongoven, white female, 21 years of age, of Slocomb, Alabama was arrested and charged with Unlawful Manufacturing of a Controlled Substance.
Bonds have been set at $60,000.00 each. All persons arrested are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
