DOTHAN: Dothan Police hit a house on Melrose Lane in Dothan.
Information was that a resident on Melrose Lane was wanted in connection with an investigation of an attempted murder in Dothan.
Preliminary investigation is there was a suspect at the residence who had outstanding theft warrants on him.
He was taken into custody by Dothan Police. At this time the suspect has possibly been cleared of the attempted murder allegations. However he had outstanding theft warants and drugs were found when the police arrived.
Dothan criminal investigators continue their investigation
