Dothan Police need Information on Invasion Robbery

On August 23, 2012 the Dothan Police Department responded to a home invasion robbery in the 1000 block of Dixie Drive just after 3:00 a.m. Upon arrival, police learned from the victims that they leave the residence to exercise each morning at approximately 3:00 a.m. The victims, a male and female, stated that as they exited their residence this morning they were ambushed at the front door by three black males, one of which was armed with a gun. The suspects forced the victims back into the residence where they assaulted both victims. The suspects demanded money which they took along with miscellaneous items. The suspects then demanded car keys to a vehicle at the residence which was used as a getaway vehicle by the suspects. Patrolmen were involved in a short pursuit with the suspects in downtown Dothan during which the stolen car was crashed. The suspects fled from the wreckage and were not apprehended.
