Dothan Police Needs Your Help

On July 6, 2015 the Dothan Police Department responded to an armed robbery of a person call at 208 Garland St. Doug Tew Recreation Center. The victim, a city employee, was in the process of closing the facility when he was approached by three male subjects asking to use a telephone. The victim allowed one of them to use his cellular phone to make a call. When the victim handed over his phone one of the subjects produced a handgun and pointed it at him. At this time the remaining two subjects began searching through the victim's car for money or items of value. When they were unsuccessful in obtaining money from the victim or his vehicle the three subjects then fled the area.
Police are asking anyone with information regarding the identity of the suspects to call the Dothan Police Department at 334-615-3000.

The Dothan Police Department will stringently guard and protect the identities of all those who wish to help in an anonymous capacity.
