Dothan to Provide Free Cooling Centers During Extreme Heat Conditions

DOTHAN: Due to the anticipation of extreme heat conditions, the City of Dothan will provide Cooling Centers at all city recreation centers and Rose Hill Senior Center on Monday , July 28, 2014. The Cooling Centers will be operational from 9:00am – 6:00pm. Individuals with no ready access to a cool environment, and particularly those at risk for heat-related illness, should use the cooling centers for relief from dangerously high temperatures.
