Dothan Woman Arrested for Terrorist Threats

On December 18, 2012 the Dothan Police Department responded to Jerry Lee Faine Elementary to assist with a precautionary lockdown. The school was under lockdown status from 8:06 a.m. until 9:20 a.m. Police say a threat was made which caused staff member’s alarm. As a result a lockdown and law enforcement response followed. An investigation into the threat was made to ensure the safety of everyone present at the school. Following the investigation, police arrested Glendell Hasan for Terrorist Threats. Police say due to the sensitive nature of the case, the stated threat and relationship of Hasan with the school will not be released.
· Glendell Hasan, black female, 55 years of age, of Glanton Street was arrested and charged with Terrorist Threats with a $2,500 bond. All persons arrested are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
