Dothan Woman Charged with 1st Degree Assault

On 10/23/2016 Officers were investigating a criminal mischief complaint on Agutha Drive. While Officers were on the scene the suspect drove through the area. One of the officers activated his emergency lights and stepped out of his vehicle in an attempt to stop the vehicle. The vehicle struck the officer causing minor injuries. The suspect came to rest at a residence down the street and was taken into custody.


Investigators have arrested and charged 26 year old Chavonna Brianne Scott, of Jeter Drive Pinkard, with Attempted Assault 1st degree. Bond has been set at $30,000.


Additional charges are pending. All persons arrested are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
