Dothan Woman Charged with Second Degree Assault

On July 1, 2014 the Dothan Police Department arrested Alice Thomas after investigators say she followed a co-worker home and assaulted her following a verbal argument at their place of employment.
Investigators say Thomas confronted the victim, a 42 year old female, and used a razor to slash her arm before fleeing the scene prior to officers arriving. The victim was transported to a local hospital where she was treated for her injuries and released.
Thomas was taken into custody at her home and charged with second degree assault.
- Alice Sharell Thomas, black female, 33 years of age, of Eugene Street was arrested and charged with second degree Assault. A bond amount was set at $15,000.00.
All persons arrested are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
