Dothan Woman Charged with Second Degree Possession of a Forged Instrument and Identity Theft

On January 29, 2013 the Dothan Police Department made a two count felony arrest following an ongoing investigation. Police say the investigation revealed a woman entered a local business on November 17, 2012 and conducted two transactions using forged checks. Additionally, police learned the woman was in possession of checks she obtained by stealing the identity of another to open a checking account. The suspect was identified as Micole Snell and has now been arrested bringing these cases to a close.
· Micole Snell, black female, 40 years of age, of Blackshear Street was arrested and charged with Second Degree Possession of a Forged Instrument and Identity Theft with bonds totaling $10,000. All persons arrested are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
