Dothan Woman Charged with Shooting into an Occupied Dwelling

On December 28, 2012 the Dothan Police Department responded to a report of a gunshot into an occupied dwelling at an apartment complex located in the 500 block of Fortner Street. Upon further investigation, police learned a resident of the complex was having a domestically motivated altercation within her apartment and fired off one shot during the argument. The round traveled into an uninvolved neighbor’s apartment which was occupied at the time however no injuries were sustained during the incident.


 


 


·        Christy Flowers, black female, 32 years of age, of Fortner Street was arrested and charged with Shooting into an Occupied Dwelling with a $5,000 bond. All persons arrested are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
