Dothan Woman Charged with Third Degree Burglary

On December 2, 2012 the Dothan Police Department responded to a commercial burglary at the City of Dothan Animal Services Division. Police say Melina Coffman went into the building a took a puppy before leaving the property. When confronted by police, Coffman admitted to entering the facility and taking the puppy which was then returned. Coffman was arrested bringing this case to a close.

 

·        Melina Coffman, white female, 49 years of age, of South Saint Andrews Street was arrested and charged with Third Degree Burglary with a $2,500 bond. All persons arrested are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
