Dothan Woman charged with three counts of second degree Forgery

On August 8, 2014 the Dothan Police Department made a felony arrest following a recent forgery investigation.
Investigators say on July 31, 2014, Rashidah Russaw took three bank checks from an individual she knew and cashed them by forging the victim’s signature. Investigators say Russaw was given a total of $900 after cashing all three checks, but was arrested after receiving information implicating her in the crime.
Russaw’s arrest now brings this case to a close.
- Rashidah Neicka Russaw, black female, 21 years of age, of Stone Drive was arrested and charged with three counts of second degree Forgery. A bond amount has been set on each count and totals $7,500.00.
All persons arrested are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
