The Downtown Group Posts Executive Director Job

01/23/2012 Dothan, AL

The Downtown Group, the DTG, a medium to focus on commerce, culture and community in downtown Dothan announced it will post for the job of Executive Director. This is a contract position requiring a strong foundation in public administration, a thorough knowledge of city and county regulations, responsible for obtaining funding through grants and local private public partnerships. This position will be posted for one week, interviews will be conducted, and a recommendation will be made to the Board of Directors of the DTG in the February board meeting.

QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s Degree from a four-year university accredited by an accreditation agency recognized by the U. S. Department of Education (USDE) or the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) in Community Planning, Historic Preservation, Business or Public Administration, Marketing, or a closely related field.  An eight year employment experience in a closely related field will be considered.
