Make plans to attend the 10th annual Tri-State BBQ festival in Dothan, AL on April 10-11. The event, held at the Houston County Farm Center, brings in food and merchandise vendors from across the country to offer unique items for sale. Currently we have quite a few vendors signed up to participate, including:

FOOD/ DRINK VENDORS-

Coors Light Beer Tents located throughout the venue. Ice cold Miller Lite, Coors Light and other brands from United Distributing company.

ET’s BBQ- Pulled pork, pulled chicken, pork chop sammich, smoked roast beef, BBQ Nachos, BBQ Sundae, Loaded BBQ Potato, Dinner plates of ribs, beef, chicken or pork with sides (mac and cheese, baked beans or cole slaw) and assorted drinks.

Ranch House Kitchen- smoked meats and fix ins’ available all weekend along with drinks and desserts.

Lemon Smashers- Hand Squeezed lemonade, fruit flavored lemonade drinks and boiled peanuts.

TLS Concessions- Philly cheese steak burritos and their signature “must try” item- BBQ Burritos!

Dease Roasted Corn- Frozen sweet tea, frozen lemonade, roasted corn on the cob, baked and loaded potatoes and bottled sodas (Pepsi)

Crazy Caldera Inc- Kettle Corn (regular and caramel), salty popcorn and BACON PUFFS! (They are like pork rinds, but better)

Bayou Billy Sweet Dixie Tea- Buy the collectable mug and get free refills for $1 …. for life! Bring back your mug each year for more!

Mama’s Food Factory- Funnel cakes (regular, red velvet, chocolate brownie & s’mores), deep fried apples, poutine, deep fried cheese cake, fried green tomatoes, fried pickles, fried cookie dough, ribbon fries, cheese sticks and home made strawberry and banana cups.

Farm Fare- BBQ Tacos, BBQ Nachos, Brunswick stew, Piggy Mac, French Fries, Fried Oreos, Fried Snickers, can drinks and bottled water.

Buffalo Rock- Stop by the soda wagon and get some ice cold Cherwine, Pepsi, and Aquafina Water

Pina Colada Caribbean Style- Enjoy a non-alcoholic version of a pina colada right inside the pineapple!

Earnie’s Snowballs- New Orleans style snow balls, with fresh, home made syrup. Try the “Fireball Snowball” for something fun. (Like a red-hot candy)

Fatbacks- Get a hot, crisp sack of fresh fried pork skins!

Tropical Blast Italian Ice- Great flavors of Italian Ices, Ice Cream, Milk Shakes and Tea

Bite Club- Smoked meats, BBQ eggrolls, BBQ sandwiches, bacon wrapped hot dogs, fries, nachos, BBQ nachos, chili cheese fries, drinks

Swamp Shack- Low Country Boil, Gumbo Laya, Bayou Plate, Dirty Shrimp Bowl, Shrimp Po Boy, Swamp Brat, Swamp Burger, Swamp Steak Sandwich, Shrimp and Grits, Red Beans and Rice, Cajun Corn, Pickled Eggs, Peanut Butter Pie, Banana Puddin, Strawberry Shortcake, Swamp bubble Drink, Sweet tea, Aquafina Water, Pepsi Products

Jackson Vending- Smoked Turkey Legs, Smoked chicken leg quarters, hot wings, baked beans, potato salad, bread and drinks

Dothan Ice Cream Co. (Friday night only) – Come get a hand crafted gourmet ice pop in a variety of great flavors. My favorite flavor is mango sweet tea, but the kids like Unicorn Milk (cream of grape pop that tasted like cereal milk)

Pony Rides from Ponderosa Pony Rides for the little ones (small fee charged)

Fish Game- Toss the ping pong ball into the fish bowl and leave with a new pet for your house! (small fee charged)

Walk on Water Bubbles- Get in a bubble and walk on water! (small fee charged)

NASCAR style remote control car racing- race your friends and see who can control theirs to the the finish line

Kiddie Helicopters- For the little ones- ride a mini-helicopter around and around, like the big guys at Ft. Rucker.
