On 11/5/9 Deputy Mahan with the Holmes County Sheriff’s Office while on routine patrol stopped a Nissan mini van being driven by Harvey Tracy Cosson, W/M, 43 YOA, from Defuniak Springs for traffic violations.  During a search of Mr. Cosson’s person Deputy Mahan located an amount of marijuana.  Mr. Cosson was placed under arrest and charged with possession of marijuana -20 grams.

 

 

On 11/12/09 narcotic investigators stopped a small Nissan pickup being driven by Travis William Berry, W/M. 27 YOA, from Bonifay.  During the traffic stop Berry became uncooperative, began resisting officers and attempted to flee.  Berry was detained and was found to be illegally in possession of prescription pain medication, (ice) methamphetamine, and a glass smoking pipe with meth residue.  Mr. Berry faces charges of possession of controlled substance (methamphetamine), possession of controlled substance (hydrocodone), possession of narcotic equipment, and resisting an officer without violence.
