Drug Task Force is combating the methamphetamine problem in Covington County

On September 6, 2012, Drug Task Force Commander Mark Odom was contacted by Florala Police Chief Sonny Bedsole. Chief Bedsole had received a tip that three individuals were at a local pharmacy trying to purchase pseudoephedrine. Commander Odom instructed Chief Bedsole to have his officers detain the subjects. Drug Task Force Agents responded to Florala after the subjects were detained and conducted interviews.
