A little after 12:30 AM; multiple Volunteer Fire units from Rehobeth and Hodgesville responded to a report of a structure fire at 75 Marilyn Drive in Rehobeth. First unit on scene was met with heavy smoke and flames. Fire fighters used a large master stream to knock down the flames coming out the roof of the home to gain control of the fire.
Everyone was able to evacuate the home, but the home is a total loss despite best efforts of fire fighters. Houston County Sheriff’s Office responded along with an ambulance from Rehobeth Rescue. The road is closed due to supply line blocking the road.
Red Cross was called to come help the family. The cause of the fire is not known at this time. Please keep this family in your prayers.
