Early Morning Wreck Claimed the Life of an Andalusia Man

Covington County -- A single-vehicle crash early Saturday morning  claimed the life of an Andalusia man.  Christopher Milton Pettus, 37, was killed when the 1998 Chevrolet Blazer that he was driving left the roadway, struck a culvert and overturned.  Pettus, who was not wearing a seat belt, was  pronounced dead at the scene. The crash occurred at 3:15 a.m. on U.S. 84 inside the Sanford city limits. No additional information is available as Alabama State Troopers continue to investigate.
