Eastside Fire Station will get Renovated

Dothan; This morning the Dothan City Commission voted to Award the bid to the Saliba Construction Company, Inc. for renovations and additions to Eastside Fire Station in the amount of $695,570.00 and appropriating funds for said project. Chief Larry Williams stated this station was built in 1973 and they moved into the station in 1974 and no upgrades have been done to since.
Chief Williams also talked about the repairs being done to the Westgate Fire Station. Both station were built in around the same-time frame and both were having trouble with leaking roofs. the work on the Westgate station was scheduled to start today.
