DOTHAN: 1:49 AM. Dothan Police rolled to Whiddon and Wheat Street to an edged weapon assault with uncontrollable bleeding.

A black male was stabbed and had a knife impaled in his chest. Dothan Fire and Pilcher Ambulance responded. The patient was treated and transported to SAMC, emergency, under a trauma alert.
The victim is still living and in serious condition.
The suspect is identified only as a black male.
ALL LIVES MATTER - so the community needs to get action in their community in stopping the violence on each other.
No just yell if the death or serious injury is a black person where the suspect is a black person.
In 2016, off the top of my head, I know of a murder at Wheat and Whiddon where a black person was killed on a Saturday morning. There was another edged weapon at this same location several weeks later.
Not one march, protest or action in helping stop the violence of the same race.
