ELECTION DAY in Houston County On Tuesday

HOUSTON COUNTY:  The General Election for Houston County Commission District 4 is Tuesday. The polls open at 7 AM and close at 7 PM.

The polling places are Westgate Park, Vaughn Blumberg Center, Houston - Love Memorial Library, Bay Springs Volunteer Fire and Wicksburg Volunteer Fire.

The only candidate is Melinda McClendon. But here is the danger if you do not vote for Melinda. Someone could write in names and win the general election if you do not go vote for Melinda.

Do not take the voting for granted. Stranger things have happened.

Make sure you go to the polls and cast your vote for Melinda.

The election if District 4 Houston County Commissioner. The vacancy is that of Commissioner Phil Forrester who passed away during his term in office.
