Enterprise City Employee Arrest for Theft

The Enterprise Police Department would like to inform the public that a recent criminal investigation initiated by the Chief of Police has resulted in the arrest of a city employee.
The investigation was started on April 27, 2016 when discrepancies arouse in City of Enterprise purchase orders. Investigators determined that over $5,000.00 in merchandise was purchased and charged to the City of Enterprise utilizing purchase orders for personal use.
EPD Investigators arrested and charged Shannon Davis, age 44, of New Brockton, AL with one count of Theft of Property 1st and one count of Theft of Property 3rd.
Davis has been a City of Enterprise employee for 14 years and was the Administrative Assistant for the Chief of Police. Davis was transported to the Coffee County Jail after arrest.
