Enterprise Man Could be Charged in Domestic Violence

The Enterprise Police Department is investigating a domestic violence offense that occurred today in the 2100 Block of Geneva Hwy Enterprise, AL. At 3:00 AM, the EPD 911 Center received a call advising a domestic was in progress at a residence and the suspect was armed with a handgun. EPD Officers arrived on scene and heard multiple gun shots from inside the residence.  Officers entered the residence and apprehended the suspect without incident.  During the domestic the suspect attempted to choke the victim.  The victim was able to escape the chokehold and get away from the suspect.  The suspect was shot two times by the victim during the domestic violence altercation.  The victim received only minor injuries.  Charges are pending on the suspect.  This is an ongoing investigation and no further information will be released at this time.
