Enterprise Police Respond to a Robbery Call on Rucker Blvd

The Enterprise Police Department is investigating a robbery that occurred at the Shell Station located at 1114 Rucker Blvd. Enterprise, AL on October 13, 2016 at 2:25 AM. An employee of the Shell Station advised that a black male approached the counter and demanded money. The suspect forced the store employee to the ground, struck the employee multiple times, and fled the store with the money box. The store employee received minor injuries during this robbery.
A short time later, an EPD Patrol Officer located the suspect behind a business on Rucker Blvd. The suspect was taken into custody without incident. The Enterprise Police Department arrested and charged David Johnson, age 48, of Enterprise with Robbery 3rd. Johnson was transported to the Coffee County Jail after arrest.
