Enterprise Was Honest

ENTERPRISE: Recently I was at the meeting of the Enterprise City Council.
But that group is not the purpose of this article.
As I was walking the hallway of the Enterprise City Hall talking on the phone I noticed a sign concerning accident reports and incident reports. They were $ 3.00, cash or local checks accepted.
WOW - in Dothan those same reports are $ 15.00. And in Enterprise they are only $ 3.00.
That has posed some questions for me:
1. Is the City of Enterprise actually in the State of Alabama?
2. Do the same rules instituted for the State of Alabama accident investigation that apply to Dothan apply to Enterprise?
The reason I ask that is, some years ago when John Powell was Dothan Police Chief, he increased the accident reports from $ 3 to $ 15. Powell said it was because of requirements from the State of Alabama.
Yes the State of Alabama went to a computer software for accident investigation. But Enterprise and Dothan had to install the software.
No one questioned Powell and took his comments at face value. But if $ 3 is enough for Enterprise to charge for pressing CTRL - P on the computer, then it is enough for Dothan.
THANKS to Enterprise Police Chief T.D. Jones, Mayor Boswell and the Enterprise City Council for your honesty and integrity with the citizens of Enterprise Alabama.
SHAME on Dothan ( not Mayor Mike Schmitz, Commissioner Dorsey, Kirkland, Ferguson, Kenward and Baxley, or Dothan Police Chief Steve Parrish - none of you were there when it passed ) but shame to Dothan Commissioner Amos Newsome and City Manager Mike West. You conned us.
