A 1998 GMC Sierra was traveling West on Hancock Lane approaching County Road 95A. A 2006 International School Bus was traveling West on Hancock Lane also approaching County Road 95A. The School Bus was stopped straddling the line between the left turn lane and the right turn lane on Hancock lane at the intersection. The School Bus was preparing to turn right (North) onto County Road 95A. The Sierra attempted to travel past the right side of the School Bus. In doing so, the Sierra left the main traveled portion of the roadway. When the School Bus began it's right turn, the rear side wheel of the School Bus struck the front driver's side corner of the Sierra. The driver of the Sierra was cited for attempting an improper pass on the right side of the School Bus.
The School Bus was carrying 11 High School Students. There were no injuries in either vehicle.
