Escape From Holmes County Jail

HOLMES COUNTY FL:    Two person escaped from the Holmes County Florida Jail early this morning at 12:40 AM.


One escapee is still at large.


The escapee that is still at large is David Chandler, age 28. He was being held for Bay County Florida on charges to include murder, home invasion, burglary of a dwelling, burglary with intent to commit a theft, and a state fugitive from Gwinnett Georgia.


The escapee is still at large. He is considered armed and dangerous.


Also escaped but apprehended - 32 year old Jeffrey Morrill.


Dale County Sheriff Department was called to the scene to assist in the search. The flare device has heat seeking devices.


Anyone with information on Chandler is urged to call Holmes County Sheriff Department or your nearest law enforcement agency.
