Eufaula Man Charged with Third Degree Robbery

On January 5, 2013 the Dothan Police Department responded to a theft in progress which upgraded to a strong armed robbery. Police say the suspect, Wayne Lynn, entered Target located at 4601 Montgomery Highway and concealed store merchandise before attempting to exit. A security team member of Target attempted to stop the suspect at which time a physical altercation began as the suspect attempted to flee. The employee, assisted by a customer, was able to hold the suspect on the ground until Dothan Police arrived on scene. Police arrested Lynn and merchandise was recovered brining the case to a close.


 


 


·        Wayne Lynn, black male, 26 years of age, of Eufaula, Alabama was arrested and charged with Third Degree Robbery with a $2,500 bond. All persons arrested are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
