EYE CENTER SOUTH IS PLEASED TO ANNOUNCE THE ASSOCATION OF GENE SMITH,  BOARD CERTIFIED HEARING INSTRUMENT SPECIALIST.

 

DOTHAN, ALA. – Mr. Gene Smith, a Board-Certified Hearing Instrument Specialist specialize in hearing evaluations and hearing aid fittings, has over 14 years of experience assisting patients with hearing loss.  He is a member of the Alabama Society of Hearing Healthcare Providers and received the National Board for Certification in Hearing Instrument Services and Dispenser License in 2008. Vision and hearing are the two most important senses which is why Eye Center South and Hearing Center South have joined together to help patients improve both in one location. Smith’s new hearing program includes a complimentary hearing evaluation for all patients as part of Eye Center South’s comprehensive health plan. Mr. Smith has a passion for helping people improve their quality of life by assisting with hearing loss and rewarding patients with the proper instruments to communicate effectively. He comes to Hearing Center South from Gene’s Hearing Aid Service, his former privately owned small practice in Dothan, and Mr. Smith has also worked with Beltone Corporate Retail as a store manager and Dothan Hearing Aid Center in hearing instrument sales. He has three sons, a daughter-in-law and a granddaughter all residing in Dothan.  Mr. Smith embraces the opportunity to improve patients hearing loss alongside their vision.
