Family Holds Vigil For Man Killed By Police

People gathered at the scene of a police involved shooting in Headland Thursday night to honor the memory of 33-year-old Patrick Humphrey, who was shot and killed January 31^st, by a Headland Police Officer.

Humphrey’s family believes the shooting was not justified, but police say otherwise.

Headland Police say Humphrey attacked two paramedics, and an officer. When a back up officer arrived on the scene he fired a round, striking Humphrey in the chest. He died from his injuries a few hours later

The family plans to address Headland’s City Council on Tuesday night.
